Three more gold-colored bracelets change places on his wrists, sometimes two on the left, one on the right, sometimes all on one arm.
Mental Description: Highly intelligent, but only scratching the surface of his gifts, Viilo tends toward humor almost as much as Bakku and often he'll resort to negativity or acting out when he feels vulnerable. He's studied both old-earth and Votan medical knowledge, and even dabbled in engineering to begin work on a self-constructed bio-magnetic gun. While he is more or less a healer at heart, he's not opposed to spilling blood when it's necessary or proving that his petite frame houses a fiery, rebellious and sometimes dangerous personality. Other than that, he's generally friendly and more or less charming around strangers. Bakku's presence has influenced Viilo a lot. It is, in part, because of him that Viilo feels obligated to grow and learn, taking advantage of his intelligence so that he can take care of the one who saved him from his dangerous past.
Background: Viilo was born in 2025 to a young irathient woman who'd sought shelter at the pacifistic commune established in Yosemite Valley. Four years later, she managed to escape the Yosemite Massacre with her child, and join a traveling band of irathients who made their way north-west to the Bay Area. By some form of miracle, one year later, the Arkfall and subsequent terraforming spared her and most of her companions as they approached Mt. Tam and crossed into Madera, where they stayed with irathient farmers. Before five more years had passed, the woman married a skilled hunter, giving Viilo a father and a solid home on the farm. The now ten year old learned to pull his weight on the cooperatively owned farm, while reading and tinkering with everything the salvagers brought back. Though it was far from a traditional irathient upbringing, his family held tightly to their beliefs and customs, praying and honoring the gods of their people while keeping interactions with their human neighbors to a minimum. In time, they realized they could, for the most part, trust outsiders, business picked up and the farm thrived, even exporting goods to other areas where attempts at farming had failed. Viilo's skill at tinkering grew, and he began incorporating a small amount of technology into the farm's operations, giving him spare time to study medicine.
At just over 18 years old, Viilo started to fight with his step-father and stray from home, finding himself at The Crater where he'd make scrip offering his medical, technical and sometimes spiritual services. It didn't take long for dangerous people to take advantage of the young irathient, and soon he found himself among some of the most despicable men in the Bay Area. Fleeing after weeks of witnessing horrors and enduring abuses, Viilo returned home to find Bakku eating dinner with his family, telling them stories of the colony he'd left. Viilo told his family, and Bakku, where he'd been and who he'd been with. Just hours later the vicious men turned up at the farm, ransacking it. Bakku, Viilo's father, and the other older irathient men took up arms to fight the raiders. In the end, Viilo's father and many of the farmers were killed, and the young irathient was blamed for bringing the murderers to their doorstep. Viilo couldn't stay, and Bakku took pity on the boy, knowing how rough the new world was. Together they set off toward the Crater where they planned a new life for the both of them. Within a year, they had obtained ditarra seeds and claimed an abandoned train car. Bakku worked to hide and reinforce the home, while Viilo planted and tended to the seeds which he would later turn into sabdi and a decent profit.
